Talking

So, today started well...
Drove to the office and parked in my usual spot my bone stock 525xi...

After logging on, I checked the status on two UPS shipments and I was quite satisfied to find out that the status was "Out for delivery." I waited impatiently for the truck to show up, but when it did it was well worth it - there were 4 boxes and an envelope for me. I signed off, put the boxes in my car and drove to my local installer, where 4 other items already delivered from another vendor were patiently waiting to be put to use. Soon there after, all items were mated accordingly.

I had those wonderful things installed and drove back to the office to do some more work, thinking how different a car looks with new wheels only.

On the way home, I realized I can't wait till the weekend to put the contents of the aforementioned envelope to use. As soon as I got home, I opened the envelope which contained another box, and in the box there was an item which many of you are very familiar with.

The item above, as we know, requires the removal of the gas pedal...

And reassembly after that.

Amazingly, the installation went so smoothly that I thought I was doing something wrong... But sure enough, everything worked fine and after this day of hard work, I went for a quick ride on Rt78... The new wheels and tires as well as the SB are a blast!
Can't wait till the next meet and ride in the Poconos and Bear Mtn.
Sorry for the crappy pics, but that's all that my Blackberry is capable of.
And YES, YES, I KNOW I HAVE TO DROP THE CAR. I just don't have enough time between now and the meet, so don't beat up on me too much.

I liked the stock look better.

Congrats! Great choice of wheels.

Thanks, Calton. I was torn between these and the VMR VB3's (going after your 535 look), but as soon as I found that these are hubcentric with the high offset, it was an easy decision. Thanks also for all the help and patience answering my n00b questions.
See you at the meet!

Yes, by all means I agree with you. The first chrome deletion is matte black grilles which I ordered from Nerwyll and which should be here by next Tuesday...
The shadowline trim will come as soon as I achieve some financial recovery.
