Jan-jans, any luck on the finding out what polish that your mate used your car?

Allright, today we have been working on the M5 mirrors I had waiting to be put on... They were bought from the USA, but somehow the connection wasn´t correct! My original mirrors have: heating, automatic tint, retractable and off course electric adjustment. All this with 3 wires coming from the door. The M5´s don´t have the automatic tint but come with 5 cables. More cables for less spec!?!?!? So when we noticed that the colours of the cables didn´t match either, we decided to put my original motors in the new mirrors, problem solved .. Here is a picture of the makeover. I now have one mirror on, tomorrow I go in to get my exhaust tip soldered and to get the second mirror done.

Oh yeah, we also did some coding... We deleted the "no seatbelt on beep", cancelled "bulb check" (great to go wild on LEDs now without worrying about canbus etc), we corrected the errors I got sometimes from my HID kit I installed, doors unlock when I take out the key and we tried to get welcome lights, but that didn´t seem to work, neither the fog to go on when turning.... shit...


As for the polish, here you go!! Mirka Polarshine to polish and 3M 80345 to make it shine exxxtra! All aplied by machine off course...
