xBMWx,

Thanks, The reasons I pick the E46 M3 engine is because it requires the least work from all the choices I choose for my engine (others being the E39 M5 V8 engine and E60 M5 V10) with my current engine being the Inline 6 block, the same as the S54. So not (as much) work will go into fitting it to my E60 engine bay, and cost also plays into my decision as well... I'll fill you all in when I start the stage 2 of the mod with the engine, etc... Now I have to go reload the pictures...

Enjoy,

wow, very very nice....
i like the double projector headlight.
There is also a guy in either Singapore or Malaysia with the same project as yours. He also got the car painted white and almost turned the whole thing into an M5, he had a white widebody 3 series sedan before.

oh f.... sh$t load of money spent on this one. man, i wish i had that kinda money to do my e60 since i already spend them all on my x5. unf...believable project.
It doesn't cost a shit load in thailand actually since labor is pretty cheap. In the Philippines, you can do engine swaps and custom body works for about $1000. Yes you've read that right son! If i live back there and spend the dollars that i make here then the possibilities to modding are limitless. I have friends who swaps engines left and right because the labor is cheap and they can get good used parts from Japan.

Awesome custom works Ishbu! Looks like a winner already even if it's not yet complete.

true.... back in my country, you can get the car fully repainted including door hinges and engine bay for like $1500 max. but the car itself is like 3x to 4x more expensive too

Did you retrofit another projector into your LCI headlights?

It comes like that... didn't want to do any thing to it.

Yes, the cost of repainting it is really cheap depending on how you go about doing it (just exterior, or both, all complete striped down)... either way it is still cheaper than if you would have done it in the U.S. or U.K. due to the labor. For mine, I just left the engine.. and took about about 70%-80% of the car out. I think the cost for me are in the "additional" mod parts, and the part-time pay for the BMW mechanic. Heading in today to fit the new spacers, and over see the engine compartment rebuilt (like I know what I'm doing... it's all the BMW mechanic).

Will see if my digital cam can do that with recording function.. I have sebring exhaust system and had it split in "Y" formation all the way from the cat' but thinking about going with eisenmann now though.
