Wow, what a dynamic entry!! Welcome and enjoy our forums
Should be the 1st "RMFD" E60 here, for other than accident/repair reasons.
I have to agree with others ...what a nice car was that!!
Not the color of my taste but in the 1st pic it looks awesome
Seems like you are visiting us for a long time ago, as 2-3 members have already done the same look (white car/black roof) apart from the wheels,
ICEMAN 316's is the last one, if I remember correctly, but this one here is really wild!!
I wonder how did you manage painting the engine compartment without to take out the engine
Keep us updated with the final result

UPDATE 2/19/2008 - Day 14 into the project
Progress:
The doors are installed
The major parts are all painted (hood, trunks, spoiler, side skirts, front/ rear bumper)
Finish prepping small parts for painting (parts side mirrors, kidney grills, engine covers, etc.)
Rear lights tinted
Engine is in the process of being put back together (day 2 of 2 schduled)
Est. date for completion - 2/22/2008
Note: Most of the work left is putting the car back together, with tomorrow being the final day of paint for the rest of the small parts. With day 15 and 16 (out of 3 scheduled days) are for re-fitting/ installation of other mod parts (spacer etc.) . And then over all quality/ defects control check starting late day 16 and day 17 then buffing the paint and the final finish coat. Then off to the BMW service center on saturday to run engine/system check, and re-activate the airbags, other on board system etc.) Hopfully just intime for the E60 meeting on Sunday
Enjoy
