We took a road trip yesterday with my girlfriend and the new front seat are great! Much better than the standard seats that I used to have.
It was also enjoyable to use the seat heating on a cold day too. In my previous standard seats the heating was malfunctioning and started to smell burned very soon after powering it on. I asked the dealer about it, but they said there's no recall for my car becuase the seat heating issue. Oh well, now they work.
And the bass kicks ass!

It looks amazing Antti!! I too cant believe that the E60 came with those cloth seats initially.. It must feel like such an upgrade to the cooly..

Well it was a skilled upholsterer who did the seats of course. I had nothing to do with the upholstering job.
I'm the second owner of this car, and back that time when I bought it (2007), the selection here in Finland was very limited for E60's.
New cars are very expensive in Finland, and the first thing that people are ready cut out to lower the end price of the car, is the accessories, including interior materials.
A best choice to get a used car with great accessories, is to travel to Germany, buy the car there and then pay the taxes when returning home with the car. I didn't do that back then, but I easily could do that next time when I'm buying a "new" car.
