[b]Sorry guys, but i think u are really judging too fast overhere. The car looks great, period. Not any M5 badge will change that. And that some of u are having an M-badge phobia is no reason to judge his car like that. For your info, original M pack also comes with M badges, on the doorsteps and steering wheel. And since a lot of us have M5 or M6 wheels (wannabee??) i dont think u have any right to react this way.
And besides, whats wrong with being an enormous ///M fan, i am aswell but some people show it and some people dont, aint nothing wrong with that.

Just per chance this morning I'd gone and went the other way so to speak. It is a 500 something BMW that we drive, right? So:

My 530i M-Tech looking-cinque.jpg

For Americans: This is the original. All screamin 700 ccm, 2 cylinder, 29 bhp, 135/70R13 of badassmuthamotocah.

Fiat used to make them in my country and there are quite a few about. My wife actually had one 12 years ago and it's quite a funny little thing.

I agree. I don't think having an assorted M-tech options are wanabe -just many of us have the mod bug, we want to individualize our rides, and frankly some of the m-tech items look good. I can afford a M5 but choose instead to mod a 545i which is enough car for me. With the M mods (style 166 and m-aero kit), ACS spoilers and aim to get a Dinan badge (CAI, exhaust, chip, TB, front/rear brace,) no one will confuse my car with an M5. The gills are not the biggest issue with me as its the label M5 that's on it - it would be the equivalent of taking a 525i and placing a 545i badge on it from Ebay

Thx Georgos so now we are two who do not blame that guy! Its his car we can say our opinions but do not need to play kindergarden

and secondly he just should change the sticker to something else.

Having a sill is not = coping the ///M5 for that you need the whole car bulit into and not have the engine.

Imagine guys the opposite, we buy an M5 and then install M kit debadge do only two pipes and blow away all incl. tuned 535d and 550i

My 530i M-Tech looking-hamann_545i_side.jpg
look over the indicator there it is...
this was a 545i in 2003 much before any ///M E60 or ///M kit was out, you see there is a side sill on the chrome window trimed car: 545i. This was done by the tuner as the client wanted so they change your fenders as 2000? is not bad for anybody

So any car or E60 can have a side sill that chanels air to the engine and look ok, just not M5.

I like this although too much money for a small thing, even more than mirrors

Wow! Nice M5!

I've never seen one with foglights, standard mirrors, comfort seats, 18" wheels.... Nice try though, I think you should remove the side grill, to avoid embarrassment when someone in there M3 rips you to bits in a drag race, unless of course you've retro fitted a 5.0 V10 under there

All sarcasm aside, it's a lovely looking 5er, but like I say, get rid of anything that says M5, because it's an insult to the car you're trying to forge, and anyone who is fooled by the appearance, will not be experiencing the real thing, and no disrespect, may form their opinion of the M5 upon your car, which is, like i said derogatory the a true M5.
