As far as I can see, I'm sure its very possible and very easy for a body shop to fit the M5 bumper on the standard E60 fender. I mean come on, the people in Thailand can do it. A lot of guys don't even buy fenders here, they just cut their original fenderss to put the gills then install the M5 front!!!

My Ride: 545i SMG with Limited Slip Differential
Model Year: 2005
Default

Airducts :

545i :

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15

51117896587/8
Part n. 16

M5 :

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15

51117895743/4

The reason of this difference is that the M5 doesn't have fog lights .

Was it so difficult to explain in this way ?

Questions : is it possible to install M5 airducts on 545 ?
And after, they will bring more air to brakes ?

For BMW-ALPINA : thus did you made special cover with fog lights fot the M5 airduct ?

I have used the M5 airducts, and made it from they. I have also used M-tech foglights cover.. I can send you a little DIY "Do It Yourself" after they are finish.. I have worked little more with the airducts and i have now used fiber glass on it. I will post pictures tomorrow.

If you want the airducts and not use fog lights can tou use it with modifications on drivers side. It will bringe you more air to brakes and motor..

Eh, I think I will prefer to send air to brakes instead of having foglights, but if you have a DYI... I'm curious!

Thus I can install the original M5 airduct on my 545i (these 51117895743/4) ?

Then I wait for pics!
