My rear M5 bumper's got PDC and my car itself doesn't.
The shop that I got it installed and painted actually had dummy ones from other BMW's. They installed it no problem.
Find a shop that deals with BMW's a lot and they should have the plug ins.
If anything, go 2 junkyards or BMW dealerships and asks for broken ones, you might get it for free. then bring it to a shop to paint and install. (if its not matched to your color)

unless the deal is super, you should just get one that has no pdc.

I think it's a great idea to get a PDC version. You never know what cool tech gadget you want to upgrade later and you already will have a easy spot to put it in like maybe a front parking camera since your rear got PDC. I thought once about getting those generic PDC kit but at the end, I knew it won't look good matching the BMW and size is always a factor. If BMW can't even change the 08 Mtech Kit to fix the LCI, I wouldn't assume automatically another company will have the same fit by default.

Did you get your parts installed in NYC? Can you tell me where? I've been trying to find a shop that could install my M-Tech kit.
Thanks,
Henry

Parts, I got my rear M5 bumper from a member on the forum in Queens.
and I went to this shop that did it for me, Paul Miller. Look them up and you can find them on googler. (In flushing / bayside)
You can ask Slickrick for the info. They are a little pricy though, but they know their BMW's. All they have are BMW's.
