Yikes...For four grand I'd probably just pick up some ACS front and sides and call it a day, with a BUNCH of money leftover for more important stuff.

I had a very similar quote from my local BMW dealer. One thing they were not too certain was whether body kit comes painted or not... I assume it is just primed, so another $1200 or so to get it painted.

As someone had suggested, I went with aftermarket route (only got front bumper, ~$1000 installed).

Does the mtech crash pad foam still exist to purchase? I can't find anythign through google, ebay or anywhere else?

They do not come painted.

There really shouldn't be a need to buy a new absorber. You only have to trim a small amount out of the exisiting absorber to get the front cover to fit. I suppose you could just buy one for the 550i, but it's an unnecessary expense.

For front bumper, front lip, new fogs, side skirts, and evgerything painted and shipping.. I paid 1295.00 through Umnitza. Buying OEM is not always the answer unless money is no object....Which me be the case for many of you considering we're in a BMW forum. lol
