My Ride: Black 2006 530i Premium Package, Navigation, 18in OEM Wheels, Black Leather, Wood Grain Dash
Like the title says.....but how much difference are they and then compared to the HID foglights i have recently installed on my car

Had both Mtec V3 and Motorsport AE. Both are a waste of time and money. In the daytime BOTH are barely visible. Get the Orion V2, white 5000K angel eyes, have Simon do the the installation and you'll be 100% satisfied. Trust me??...

I wouldn't say it's a waste of time and money. For most it's, exactly what they were looking for. A cost effective, plug and play option to upgrade their AEs. It's tough for some to justify the additional cost and time to install Orion V2s.
With that said, I initially went with mtec v2s from John and I eventually did get Orions.
If you are one of those that just has to have the "best available" you might as well go with Orions now to safe yourself some money down the road.
