Thumbs up

I just noticed today that when my light switch is in the OFF position and I start my car, left and right angel eyes start blinking on-off for a period 10 seconds and then it turns off completely. In AUTO, it doesn't do this "dance".

Anyone else have this issue? More important, how do I fix it? I could always leave it in AUTO - but that is not fixing it!

thanks!

Someone else had this problem. Don't think there was a fix.
I'm installing mine Saturday so I guess I will have the same problem.

Does that mean you can't drive with just the halos on?

I actually get the strobing in the Auto position but haven't checked the other positions. I was told that it'll strobe in any position during start up so I'm surprised yours doesn't strobe in the Auto position.

I just installed my MTEC V2 yesterday and haven't noticed any strobing.. If there is, I'm gonna lay down some cardboard and start breakdancing in front of my car..

Yeah just put it in the Parking Lights position and only the halos will be on. At least that's the case for the US cars.

The strobing (for me) only happens with the light switch in the OFF position when you start the car. After that initial strobing, it works fine.

Mine also does the storbing in the off-position and not in the auto-position. At first i wanted to only have the angel eyes on but after a while I got bored with the strobing and now I have the switch in the auto position all the time.

This is completely normal.
This is your car doing a check and the LED require little current to fire them up.
This has always been the case and you see it more if you start your car before you turn on your lights in the late afternoon or darker hours.
