I received the new MTEC2 angel eyes from brabusw209amg today. The crisp white color of these is great. The attached photo shows the new MTEC2 light on the right and the factory light on the left. For the record, the install took quite a bit of time. I'd say well over 2 hours in total. I had to pull out the headlights which turned out out to be harder than expected. On my e39 5 series the light assemblies slid right out. On the e60, you have to jiggle and maneuver the assembly to get it out. This was a long process as I didn't want to break anything or scratch the car. Once out, then I had to pull out the OEM angel eye bulbs and put the new ones in. There is next to zero room to maneuver the lights within the assembly - this was a tedious process. I will state that the second light went much faster than the first but it was still a long process. So...pain in the butt yes...worth the
effort? YES! It's a great mod. Next major mod is to "clean up the messy garage" in the photo!

YEs but all the other Angel eye are less bright then the stocks...

So this is a good thing as I did see it on my car as a comparison and the Mtec 2 is much more brigher then other
white LED angel eyes...

Looks great! Everyone has been saying that AIB v3s were excellent and brighter than stock when it came out. Now these MTEC v2, they are a tad brighter than AIB and definitely whiter. Unfortunately, nothing matches LCI angel eyes
