Default Mpg mods?

Mpg mods? I'm thinking about buying a m5 e60 but the gas just sucks. I'm feeling I would care but the way I drive I think it would start to hit me. What kind of mods could I do to get better mpg other then that driving slow bs.

There are no mods I can think of that will increase your gas mileage. You'll just have to suck it up.

haha! dude, if you are worried about the gas I would not buy one. I have a 2010 M% and trust me when I tell you it will NOt get better. They drink oil just as fast and maintenance costs are much higher (regular maintenance such as oil changes, etc.).

Best bang for the MPG is a 535 with a tune. However, yeah if you must have a V10...just grin and bear it.

True that. You can't expect good gas mileage from a 500 hp V10 automobile that weighs 4000 lbs.

I went from a Honda Accord to a 530i and the difference is not much, give or take a couple of mpg but better acceleration with the bimmer.

I have a 530i gas mileage is amazing, don't fool around with the car to change the mpg, either you can afford it or not, don't tweak it for mpg

What kind of MPG are you guys getting with your 530i's? My 06 530i (N52 motor) with just a charcoal delete mod on 20" wheels only gets 15.5-16.5 MPG with mostly city driving. I'm assuming your guy's MPG is much better by the way you guys are making it sound.

I want to get new spark plugs, K&N drop in air box filter, and magnaflow exhaust muffler to open it up so it can breathe and flow better in hopes of better MPG.
