I asked the question if a particular filter on diesel engines would be a problem of chipping (remapping software) a diesel bmw E6O engine because its seems on boards that is what people say it can t be done because acs or hamann dont sell diesel chips

The answer is its not a problem. In belgium diesel engines with partikel filters can be chipped

A part of the software on the new chips is calculating when the regeneration of the
filter is happening, the chip doesnt change those calculations because those are based of the injection of the fuel. After chipping some more fuel is injected so the regeneration (cleaning of the filter) will be done more frequent.
