Hi all,
Has anyone ever modfied the exhaust on the 545? I find the car is missing a little bit of a rumble that makes it that more excitable!!
I love the car and all but too me a v8 isn't a real v8 unless it gets you smiling everytime you hear the engine rev!!
Any thoughts?

Yes the stock exhaust is way too quiet, and actually most aftermarket exhaust are way LIGHTER than the stock exhaust. I have Eisenmann Quad Exhaust on my 530i.. IMO it sounds pretty good..

I have the Eisenmann dual tip (no mods to bumper) and quite like it. I ordered it from Eisenhaus and didn't care for them too much as a distributor. Took me two months to get it and packaging when it did arrive was questionable. Product-wise though, top-notch. Sounds great. I got the race version and it is not obnoxious at all. More of a deep tone than an outright muscle car sound. It will set you back 2-3 hundred more than the B&B though (about $950). I would do a repeat purchase, just through a different distributor.

JDN has a Remus exhaust and I think it sounds similar to the Eisenmann, very German sounding. He has sound clips on his signature (as does Realtyman for B&

Good luck!
