It makes me wonder sometimes.
That other half of me that says things like: "Its just a car, stop being so damn obsessed about changing it.
Its also a depreciating asset bound to never give back what you put in"
.
Why are we so passionate about our E60s and modding? Is it that we love to look at and drive our cars and say "wow, amazing"
or is it that we love others to see our cars and think "wow, that's amazing"?
Or both? I do like that my E60 isn't the ordinary boring BMW driving by, that it is unique, etc. The whole BMW experience has turned into a serious hobby that I love and I never expected it.
Thanks e60.net! Thanks for making my pocket empty! =)

well i think we mod our cars for the simple fact we do not want to be just like everyone esle as you stated.
even if it makes our pockets empty I love it and i Love my car
its all about being unique, not better or worse, just different
kinda like when your married/engadged/serious relationship....she doesnt have to better or worse, she just has to be different

On Bimmerfest, newbie was asking questions regarding modding his car and the answer was "go to e60 forum, every body mods their cars over there!"
