It makes me wonder sometimes. That other half of me that says things like: "Its just a car, stop being so damn obsessed about changing it. Its also a depreciating asset bound to never give back what you put in" .

Why are we so passionate about our E60s and modding? Is it that we love to look at and drive our cars and say "wow, amazing" or is it that we love others to see our cars and think "wow, that's amazing"? Or both? I do like that my E60 isn't the ordinary boring BMW driving by, that it is unique, etc. The whole BMW experience has turned into a serious hobby that I love and I never expected it.
