Folks,

My fuse chart is missing from my tool kit. i just have the lonely velcro square where it used to live. Any chance some nice fellow might post a picture or diagram of the fuse chart? I did search the forums for a bit looking prior to posting this request so please don't flame me if it was here all the time...

12V Guy

Maybe i'll send the nice helper a free Sirius Sat radio.... (www.directed.com)
Sorry for re-post as well; this was a reply in another thread, but was getting lost. I am trying to troubleshoot something today and need to know if the fuses are blown.

My trunk release button doesn't work, but the one on the remotes work fine - is there a fuse just for the interior button?
My rear power port (back of center console) and cell phone cradle (inside center console) do not have power). What fuse(s)?

THANKS ALL - e60.net ROCKS!

I'm guessing you've not seen http://wds.west.lv/

You will need http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/ to view.

Fuse for the power port in the passenger footwell is F81 in the rear fuse box.
Eject Box is F89 in the rear.

Ok now how do I claim my Free Sat radio.

I haven't tested this out lately but I think the inside release button won't work if you have the trunk locked via the metal key. In other words, if you inserted the metal key into the trunk lock cylinder and turned it, you've locked the trunk independently from the rest of the car (valet mode.) In valet mode, the inside trunk release button is disabled...

A quick way to tell what's going on is to unlock the car via the remote and see if you can open the trunk just by using your hand on the outside release switch (just above the license plate.) If you can't open it, the trunk is locked and that would explain why the interior switch isn't working. Just unlock it with the metal key and see things begin to work as you expect.

Rudy,

Thanks, I will check that. If that's the case, I might be bummed as the M-tech kit is installed over the key hole...;

I would have to pry off the panel and unlock it unless i could get to the mechanism from the rear inside the trunk, but i will check it out... thanks for the tip..

No, I haven't! Thanks!! VERY nice... however, I think fuse 82 for rear power port not 81. Still, that is the coolest site ever if you know how to read schemos...

As for free Sirius, alas no sat service in London, mate. As I think you blokes say....ballocks or something like that

We have an office in UK though.... Check out the website and let me know if there is something that catches your fancy (within reason...) and I'll see what I can do locally...

I misunderstood your rear of the center console as the passenger footwell socket. But now that you have seen what the site can show i'm sure you can work it out.

However please be warned that some diagrams and connections are not updated for newer cars. e.g. when I was doing my center console sockets the fuse box pictures and pins were completely different in the WDS than what was in my car.
