Mirror Blind Spot

Do any of you use smaller convex mirrors on the passenger side mirror? I almost cut someone off yesterday because of a car in my blind spot.
I've seen advertisements for non convex mirrors that eliminate blind spots, but I haven't found anyone who uses them.

+1 ... I have an OEM wide-angle/convex mirror on my M5 mirrors but still glance around my shoulder, can't put a trust on it but it helps.

I had the same problem as well.
I found that instead of a quick glance over your shoulder,
you need to really look towards the back/right of your car.
The blind spot is slightly bigger than most other cars I have
driven.

Yea, the blind spot does seem to be more appreciable on the E60. I don't like turning my head that much to look as even when I look in the mirror, at least some of my peripheral vision is still looking ahead.

Leaning forward in your seat while looking into the side mirror does the trick - you can see where the blind spot is, this way you don't have to turn your head and look out the rear side window. Try it, works like a charm.
