Guys and gals,
Yesterday, after our fun Poconos/Sussex/Harriman meet I discovered that I have a small problem with my Miro rims.
As you can see from the picture, there are two chips in the paint which go all the way to the metal. Apparently it is from a small rocks/debris, but do you think this would be covered by warranty?
If not, how can I possibly have it fixed?
The rims were bought from Acute, could somebody please let me know what my options are?

Hey,
Anyway you can take a better picture w/o flash? It's hard to see the detail of the damage.
Let me know and I'll see what I can do -- no promises though.

if the chips were there BNIB, then i could see how that would be covered, but if it's from normal/personal use...I would find it difficult to see Miro covering it under warranty....That's like BMW asking to cover a rock chip on a bumper or windshield on a brand new e60 after driving it home from the lot....
a reputable wheel repair shop should be able to refinish the wheel tho...I am sure a local member can recc a place/shop...

Thanks for your response. Don't the wheels come with any sort of warranty? I've had them for less than month.
Here are some more pictures, should be better than the Blackberry one. As you can see, the paint is completely gone, down to the metal.
Thanks!

I hear you, but a wheel is not a windshield or a bumper. It is a part that is guaranteed to take abuse from road debris and I would think that it is painted/coated/whatever with the appropriate durable paint, no?

I sent the picture to Miro and will let you know the outcome. In terms of warranty, yes wheels are warrantied if they are defective but like Gene said, if it's personal wear and tear there's nothing Miro or I can do, but we can try!
