After much deliberation, I decided on a set of 166's..
Nothing wrong with that!

I know, I know.. not exactly original or unique.. but I'm sticking with the OEM look to start things off. I mean.. its only been 2 weeks that I've owned the car.

I've been staring at your photo gallery.. man I love how your car looks!! Your ride height is exactly what I want.. plus its great to know that I wont need to lower it with my current sport suspension if I slap on some 19s.
You can't go wrong with 166s. They are very nice wheels.

Reps or OEM? If you're getting new ones, go with the M6 offset for the rear. GL.

It seems I may be a little late on this thread but here are pics of the VB3s on my 545i

Oh and +1 for Trinity's excellent customer service!

Thanks for those pictures socale39. After the OEM 166's, the VB3's look like a good next option. If I do end up buying them from a vendor in the near future, Trinity will definitely have my business. Nerweezy has been excellent in following up with me and definitely has my respect for his professionalism!!

Rizbel:

The set I'm picking up will mos def be OEM 166's, though off an M5, so I will probably need spacers for the rears.

Indeed. That is why I decided on getting the 166's. If I want a change then I'll powdercoat the wheels to switch it up.

From what I can gather though.. the VMRs do seem to be very popular.

Cant wait to see what you pick as your next set of shoes AWG.
