I have limited knowledge of these brands, though both names seem to be thrown around a lot in terms of OEM style reps.

Anyone have any insight as to whether one brand exceeds the other in terms of quality, durability, and fit?

Specifically I am comparing:

Miro M01

vs

Velocity Motoring VB3

TIA

I have heard great things about the Miro style 167 reps, but I have heard the paint on the CSL reps is very poor.

I think VMR has better CSL style wheels, and better wheels in general. Keep in mind I have never owned either, I am basing this from what I have heard.

Thanks.

Coming from JDM land, I've never considered any replica style wheels then, and now shouldn't be any different... but sometimes its nice to toy with the dark side..

I had the VMR 710s on my 335. They were very strong and the finish and quality was top notch as well as the price. Probably the best cast wheels in that range.

+1 the VMR's appear to be a slightly better constructed wheel!

I have VMR's V710 on my 335. Love them, great quality. I've been thinking about order the VB3 for my wife's e60.

So the only reason why I was considering the Miro's was because I found a set for sale in this very unique custom metallic gunmetal grey with semi gloss clear coat:

Front - 19x8.5, 5x120, ET15
Rear - 19x9.5, 5x120, ET20

They are brand new and cheaper than a new set of VMR's.

Not sure how it would look on my Titanium Silver though..

VMR has finishes of hyperblack and matte black available as another option as well
