I bought a set of wheels that had PS2s on them so I didn't have a choice in the current tires. For those of you who have had these great handling tires, do you consider them to be louder or quieter than others you've had? Also, are they quieter new when the rubber is thicker and softer, getting louder as they get thin, or do they remain about the same? I get a good amount of noise on some of the concrete freeways here in San Diego, and even my wife says these are louder than my Falken 452s.

What are your experiences? Thanks...

PS2s are my gold standard for road noise. i've had multiple sets, worn them down to the belts and they have been dead silent the entire tread life. now, if the previous owner had some sort of alignment or balancing issue for a while, they may have worn the tires unevenly to the point that they make noise. only other tire I've tried that is equally quiet is the continental sportcontact2.

Try changing air pressures. Less or more air may help with the noise.

They are noisy, nothing to do... I will reinstall them during next days and I'm not happy to remove winter tyres that are soft.
