My Ride: 04 525i sport, premium, winter, xenon. xm satellite radio, navwithtv dvd system, 1 jl 10w7 sub powered by xtant 1001x amp. 20x8.5/10 on nitto nt555 rubber. acs roof and decklid spoiler, breyton front spoiler.
I like the look but a few things
1) way overdone lately there's like 10 of them on m5 board
2) up close details look half assed and pieced together.
3) door jambs, hood and trunk are still silver
4) you could probably paint the whole car for 3k
5) durability may be a problem. I've heard heavy drivers bumpers look like a shotgun hit it.
But on th good side
1) attention magnet
2) protects paint
3) no more waxing
personally I wouldn't do it and Btw the lambos are also wrapped. As far as I know they didn't make them factory.

I blame Rob Dyrdek and his bad ass matte out Tahoe for this haha.

Think of it this way: Do you think it would be classy to be wrapped in skin-tight leather? And this stuff isn't leather, it's vinyl.

There is a member that lives here in socal that has his 550 wrapped. I have seen it in person and I must say it looks awesome.

True I also thought about this, but at the same time when you are tired of it, you can just rip it off and have fresh paint underneath! haha

I think it looks great on the M5 / M-Sport versions and looks a little out of place on the standard / less agressive bumpers

I like the matte black look.... love it actually BUT......
you guys are right, it does need a bodykit AND it better have something under the hood. You can't make a bold statement by going matte black and not be able to outrun pretty much anything that comes your way. Also, I would paint rather than wrap.
My 2 cents
