I'm not sure that I like the look of it on a 5 series, definitely on a 3 series but maybe too badass for a 5 series 
I've heard about $3000 to do whole car at a shop, there is a few guys on the e46fanatics board that did it themselves and it turned out great (that was there first time using vinyl)
I think I'm just going to stick with doing the roof
