Matte black Grill or stick with OEM chrome?

buy the flat blacks
break them apart - surrounds and slits
keep surrounds flat black
paint slits glossy black

...may not be the most visible difference but it will give it something a lil different
or...
keep ur chrome ones and break those apart
get the chrome slits and have them tinted so that the chrome isnt as obvious and pronounced
then sand and paint ur surrounds a glossy black
either one may come out nice

I've decided to more than likely go with a black grill and replace the oem chrome one. Some members recommended just painting my oem grill black, if my original grill is full chrome how would I do that? Would I have to sand the chrome down or what?
