yea thanks for all the advice. im going to try to just do my mirrors for now and see how hard the process might be. then ill take on the roof etc... i like my color but i just purchased an OEM Mtech front bumper (THANKS 2 MEMBER DIMO)and wanted to either wrap it or paint it. ill let it sit until i do my mirrors. ill post up pics once i get around to it.

maybe i bring it up because you made 15 threads trying to sell it. then when someone wanted to buy them you said you were too lazy to ship. highly doubt you turned down 2600 cash after you tried selling them for 6 months.

if you are too lazy to ship wheels, what makes you think you have the patience to wrap an entire car in vinyl? just sayin.

there are a handful of members who still post here who dont own e60's. i still have the 2006 x3. plan to get back into a bmw at some point. i know acura is basically honda but why would i get on a honda forum when the car is an acura TL? you arent the brightest bulb in the tanning bed.

Hi, Im new to the forum, just thought id put a post up after reading about the vehicle wrapping.

I own a vehicle wrapping and window tinting company in the uk and ive got over 10 years experience in these two fields. We specialise in doing a lot of work for main dealers.

Vehicle wrapping is not an easy thing to do if you have never done it before, but if you decide to have a go there's a few very important things which you need to know in order to get the vinyl to stick propley. 40% of your problem will come from getting the wrong make of vinyl, specially if you have never wrapped before. I would never DYI wrapping my entire car. That sounds like a task better left to the pros. The E60 sure does look sick when wrapped.

I watched two guys struggle to put the Lamin-X clear bra on my car the other day. I'd say it's damn near impossible for someone with no experience to do an entire car.

wow this looks crazy! i think im going to try it in a month or so. i think its worth the 120 lol. if all else fails at least my roof will be matte black lol. im sure i can manage that.

its doable man. dont let people scare you. im not pointing fingers at anyone, but, what most people claim as "difficult" or "a pro job" CAN be done by someone with some patience. There are people who say replacing an intercooler or intake or coilovers are a job for the pros, but i personally think those are easy things to change yourself.

ive watched someone work vinyl before, there are techniques you should practice BEFORE going to your car. wrap a few things around your house with curves and bends and such. Once you get a feel for it, move on to your car.

I think your only problem is that your car is a daily driver (i think) you might try to rush the job in a single weekend, and thats when you'll run into problems. as long as you can keep your car at bay for a couple weeks and work when you are calm, i think you'll be able to do this.
