Maple handbrake, steering wheel and gear selector

Why have not BMW got the wood in the steering wheel, handbrake or the gear selector in maple wood? I went down to my dealer and i was quite dissapointed.

no wood steering for sure but someone in here found a site awhile ago has retrofit. handbrake handle and gear selector, if you are talking about the black maple wood, you might want to ask bmwpartsguy .

E-brake and gearlever are availabel in wood.

Unfortunatley the steeringwheel is not and (may) never be available..

about wood.

As I have the dark poplar wood trims I fitted the wooden steptronic gear stick as well but after two days I retroitted the original stick (same color as idrive knob and sport steeringwheel inserts.

Since yesterday, with the additional wooden console part the dash looks just great to me

I like it with the wood. Doesn't look too sterile and cold then.

Your next buy should definitely be dark poplar wood steering-wheel inserts; looks IMHO marvelous in your car .....

....but I am afraid they are not developed yet
