i dont think that they sound right
you get a lot of droning from these mufflers in the cabin and some vibration.
If you cant afford a real exhaust now, save up and wait. I had my e60 8 months before i modded it.

yep with the price of the muffler $220+ $120 for install are you spending $340
the RPI exhaust is $749 or whatever trinity charges now and looks great, gains dyno proven power, and ZERO droning in the cabin, sounds awesome too, sounds the way a well made exhaust should

ok you guys convinced me, but I can't afford to do RPi just yet, but in the future I will definitely look into it. For the time being can anyone recommend some tips just to improve the looks of my stock exhaust? They just look extremely tiny on my stock non-mtech bumper and it bothers the hell outta me.
EDIT: I have a 535xi...I don't see that option on trinity's site...is it something new coming out? I thought someone said it woulbe ballpark like $3K...maybe i'm wrong

I would say go with the magna if that's what you like and can afford. Of course there will always b some cabin noise with turbo mufflers. But to me the magna doesn't sound to much diff than the rpi. A lot of guys where running magnas b4 rpi came out.

+1 on the RPI exhaust. I just got it installed monday and it definitely gave me more power and response when driving in DS mode. Definitely a must on upgrade.

Good choice, if you're going to mod your e60, mod it right. Originally I made a few purchases for my vehicle because they were inexpensive, only to end up getting rid of them in the end. The RPI Race Exhaust is estimated to be under $2000. it's is being test fitted on my vehicle and will be available shortly.
