Magnaflow is known to have a nice deep tone. If you are after with that kind of sound then go for it.

what kind of sound are you going for? agressive, or a mellow growl?

Got the 10425's and they sound Great. When you start the car it growls and under acceleration it will turn heads.

I have the Magnaflow full system on my 545i and I'm going to take it off. It is really loud.

Just add Resonators on each tail pipes. It will mellow down the tone. Just did mine, without the resonators, it sounded awesome above 3K RPM when accelerating. But drone at 2k-2.5k, at cruising speed. I have the shop added 2 bottles resonators. My exhaust is tamed now but still growling and the drone is like almost gone. Missed the beastly sound w/o the resonators, but have to do it for the kids.

Which "full system" do you have?

just get a Magnaflow muffler

Have a shop cut the stock one off and weld the Magnaflow one in

i had one on my 745i, same engine, and it sounded great.

That is the problem between 2-2,500 rpms. I'm not sure what you mean by adding resonators in the tail pipes. My exhaust is one big pipe to the muffler.
