Can't tell if I've gained HP or lost, but the car is still very fast and powerful. The same set up, which it looks like Magnaflow has caught on to, has been discussed in this thread.

I know that West was instrumental in convincing me to finally get it done, and socale39 did start the thread to get a good dialogue going, so maybe they should get Magnaflow to pay them some sort of marketing fee

Good luck though, I absolutely love my Magnaflow set up and would recommend it too anyone with a 545/550.
YUP, its real nice. Nicest sound I've heard so far.

Definately enough power to have fun with...Looks like a nice play car!

I make 412awhp @ 31psi on pump gas on mine, but the thing weighs 3700lbs.

Most people have RPI, but I have magnaflow and love the sound. My shop that installed it said it sounded way better
than a racing dynamics exhaust.

It is throaty with no drone.

I think I am one of the only people to have the actual system from Magnaflow, rather than a custom made system or magnaflow mufflers.

When I called up, she said I was the first one, and that they didn't really have the system in stock/nor was it ever made. They had one R&D, but
never 1 put together.

Strange...but whatever.

I recently did the Custom Magnaflow Set-up similar to the above... Sounds Identical to mine.. I did Stainless Mandrel bends and am happy all around. I have a bit over $1K invested but it looks factory.. Additionally the complete package Magnaflow is offering is even more and you don't get the better look of the Quads IMO..

Socale39.. What tips are those? They look Fantastic!

No plans for new rear bumper, so no quads.

I thought power was lost with quads

Power isn't lost with the setups we have. West had his setup dyno'd and showed a improvement of +10hp.

Dave,
As for the tips, they are Sebring. You can get them for about $75/ea online. Got some pics of your setup?

Good to know on the power loss thing....I just remember reading here that several members claim power was lost with quad set-ups.
