I'm hopefully getting the rims I want soon but my question is will the m6 offset fit or will I need spacers. Thanks in advance and sorry about another offset topic but I couldn't find anything about offsets as low as m6 ones.

Don't know which wheels you are considering, but if you want oem 166M rims then the M6 offsets will eliminate the need for rear spacers on an E60. Hope this helps.

OEM 167 offsets will fit

the fronts are the same as M5 166 wheels ET 12....

rear M6 offsets are ET 17, while M5 offsets are ET 28...

most that buy 166's with M5 offsets will install spacers in the rear to get the wheels to sit flush with the fenders without rubbing....10mm/12mm/or 15mm spacers are the norm, which would push the offset very close to 167/m6 offsets. There is no need to add spcared to 166's with m6 offsets and/or 167 wheels...

that being said, are you considering aftermarket wheels with an aggressive m6 offset? if so, you might get some rubbing and it may not fit...but if they are for OEM m6 167 wheels, they will fit the proper tire size...

Since they are OEM M6 I just need to make sure the tires fit correct? I was thinking of getting a set of hankooks so I should be ok right.

Just to clarify, you are getting the wheels that come with the M6 right? OEM style 167? As Gene(oogle) has mentioned, you will NOT need spacers and the proper tires for a non-M setup would be 245/35/19 F and 275/30/19. Hankooks are awesome tires for what you pay.
