AFAIK they were directly fitted onto my 545. While you're at it tho you might as well swap out those old lines for some nice SS ones. And dustless pads too if your budget permits.

They're bolt on as long as you have big enough wheels to allow for proper wheel to brake clearance. I'm pretty sure they won't fit under those 166s if you have the 18" version of them. Double check with someone who has done it, but I think you need 19" or bigger wheels.

Hi,

I have upgraded front and rear m5 brakes + anti roll bars on my 535d. Really happy about the mod and I would strongly recommend to do this.

You will some more noise from the drilled brakes, but this just adds more fun.

Regarding the wheels, 18" works fine so no problem there. I have set of 184 for winter and they fit just perfect.

And yes, they are direct fit, but I would recommend not doing it yourself as you have to bleed the brakes after and this is quite tricky.

Good luck!

I did the upgrade with my OEM 166 but they required a spacer or the caliper would rub. I went with 18mm in the back and 15mm in the front.

Front is 100% on xis. Rear needs the hub and possibly new rims.
