Default m5 vs mtech

Hello. Was thinking of upgrading to either m5 style or mtech style kit
2010 e60

Can someone tell me the difference with the front bumper.. Every time I think I see the difference I see a different picture on google to confuse me again.

Go with the M5 replica looks more aggressive... My car came with the mtech wish I had the M5 front. Just my 2 cents

The M5 bumper doesnt have foglights and is more narrow the MTech bumper has the foglight housing and has a wider look.

Thanks Klr4life.. I think you just solved my problem.. I def want fogs.. So I am left with mTech for my option. cool

what about side skirts. I don't see a great deal of difference compared to my regular ones already on my car. do they make car look lower or something?

the m5/mtech sideskirts are more aggressive and flare outwards. definitely look better than stock which have a very weak profile.

There are actually THREE common and readily available. All three are available in aftermarket which will save you a descent amount of money and look very nice. OEM only in # 1 & 3 and will cost you a bit more. There are others out there as well but you have to search for them and IMO I think they are a bit over priced.

1 - M5 - No fogs
2 - M5Tech - same as M5 but has fogs
3 - MTech - a little different and has fogs
