Drove another m5 tonight. 2008 black/black with tinted windows. smg. 44,650 miles...Talked them down to 41,500+tax. Drove great even the wife like this one over another one we drove. I do need them to cpo the car also so that is a selling point for me. I really like my car and I only have 19,500 on the clock, but do like and want a m5. I'm not loosing any money on the deal and my new wheels will fit this car also. Damn decisions. What do you guys think. What problems have you guys had with this car. good bad and the ugly please.

the only problems these cars have is the SMG pump and SMG clutch other then that i love it!

 

if you can afford the gas, go for it lol!

 

The gas wouldn't affect me as this is not a daily driver. We made a decision today to keep ours as I really like what I have done to it. So once again, I am a happy customer (once I get the front wheel problem straighten out). btw, like your ..lol

 

I really really really want to switch to an M5 myself, so... I would say go for it.

In all seriousness if gas isn't an issue and if your significant other is on board this all sounds like a great deal.

 

An M5 as a once a week vehicle, these cars don't keep their value enough for me to ever do that. If I'm gonna drop the kind of dough to get one, you better believe I'm gonna enjoy that bad boy every chance I get.

 

Trust me, when I return from wk every day I'm in my 5 going somewhere. Just don't drive it to work.

 

My wife called me and told me my rpi exhaust arrived yesterday. Yeppiiii. ( Too bad I'm out of town working) But I wont open it when I return just incase I do decide to pick up that m5. That way, I can send this one back and upgrade to the full rpi.
