If you buy just the parts for the wiring harness you'd pay around 110$ That is if you get the wiring right the first time!

The harness is available @ my store for 74.99$ and includes the option to regulate the brightness of the shifter LEDs to your liking

how is this helpful , nobody lists the wirings ? Which wire goes where ..It's like a major secret around

Stel it is so simple indeed , thats's why shouldn't be such a secret brothere
Did not know the point of this forum is to sell some stuff around . Costed me just 10 E , the conector to smg knob 1 E , 6 pins with wires like 5 E and 6 free pins for the rest .
I did use only 4 of those as for the conector 4 and 5 i used the front lighter + and - .
Easy job about 30 min ,works like a charm .

All you have to do is remove the actual pins from conectors and use a new one to conect 2 wires inside . In order to do that u need a sewing needle to get them out . Here is the diagram for E60 non lci . Njoy .

wires from m5 shifter
1(white wire) R indicator
2 N indicator
3 D/S indicator
4 ground dim lighting
5 +12 driving light illumination
6 +12

(X1599)
Large White Connector
brown
red
orange
yellow
(X1193)
Small white Connector
gray/red
brown/black
(X1600)
Small Maroon/or Purple Connector
blue/white
red/orange

the connections
from M5 wires
1.wire to (X1599) red
(start from the White wire)
2.wire to (X1599) orange
3.wire to (X1600) green/white
4.wire to (X1193) grey/red
5.wire to (X1193) brown/black
6.wire to (X1600) red/orange
