M5 Rear Bumper Question
#11
i didnt need any special stuff when i did mine, however you do need the parts which go onto the bottom of the bottom, your have to get some screws spot welded onto where the spare wheel is (on the bottom of the car) then fasten the plastic tray on to that if not the rear bumper will flap around

Thanks for all the info guys,
I also had one more questions, do they sell PDC covers? like if a car doesnt have PDC, is there a cover i can buy or do i need to fill in the hole with my body shop, or get actual PDC? Thanks for all the info

I tried finding PDC hole covers, but wasn't able to find it, other members tried as well. You can call a BMW used parts lot like http://www.bmrparts.com/
They quoted me a lot cheaper than a BMW dealership. I would even try called a BMW dealership to see if they have any broken ones that they were going to throw away

no you only need the lower black part that goes behind the difusser in the middle of the bumper. it is 2 pieces. evrything else mounts up same. you have to changethe exhaust at the same time though because the new bumper will touch the stock exhaust. and when you mount the difusser, you will have to drill it into the spare tire compartment from the bottom. sounds hard but i installed all my m5 parts myself and it was easier than i thought. hope this helps.
