My Ride: 2011 M3 Competition Package, 2006 M5
M5 OEM mirrors for 550i?
I purchased a set of OEM M5 mirrors but body shop is telling me it does not fit. Anyone eith similar experience?

Hmmm ... odd ... physical fitment or wiring issue? Physically all E60 model has the same identical door.
Wiring maybe since they are 2 kind pre-Sept. '05 model with many wires that goes into 3 different plugs and the post-Sept '05 (in which for your model) that has only 3 wires into a single plug.

Yes, they were M6 mirrors. I purchased them on eBay. In description it says that it fits E60 BMWs. 
Can someone tell me which BMW can use this M6 mirrors? So this mirrors doesn't fit my 2007 550i? Body shop was able to paint and install M-Tech body kit and spoiler except mirrors.

I say return the mirrors to the seller if you are still within the return window or if not open a case thru ebay for false advertising or something like that. As long as the auction didn't say buyer responsibile for final fitment you should be able to get your money back.
