so there is no way to get it done on pre lci?

because i know other country e60 has fold up option

Nope, so far no one has been able to do it in the USA. There was this one guy that says he did it, and I followed the steps bit it turns out it didn't work. So we're just waiting for a solution now. (praying) LOL

I have a solution but it is not elegant and so have been thinking about how to make it simple.

but is this only for the m5 mirrors OEM?

no replicas out there that would work?

When I bought them (from the dealer) they told me there were two versions. Somewhere about $700 difference between the two versions. I guess the less expensive didn't include the fold......oh well, I usually don't fold my mirrors anyway.

looks like your screwed like the rest of us i have m5 mirrors on a 05 545 no fold bruce figure something out for us!!!!

bruce option is not elegent as he said but follow theses steps

take your mrs/g/f out with you
when you want to fold the mirrors you tell her to get out to it do job done...i think bruce said he was working on a more elegant method maybe he means a younger model pmsl

or you guys move over here and rock with us in the UK!!!!!!!!!!
