Would it work on my 06/04 build? I know the folding feature probably won't work but would the puddle lights, auto dimming, power adjustments, and auto tilt work?

My assumption is that in order to have all functions to work, buy US spec M5 mirrors which does not have autofold function.

Thanks for comments..I have also done additional research and has discovered through some sources that it is NOT a good idea to do this mod although the mirrors will bolt up, this modification is not recommended. Due to the M5's mirrors having differing functionality, the car's software may be adversely affected.
So unless someone tells me otherwise - due to their personal experiance, I am staying away away for this Mod.

I assume your mirror is EU spec which has autofold, right?

Unfortunately, Fred already returned the mirrors to me. I'm pretty sure it won't fit yours either. They are Euro-spec, and I was just hoping to find someone brave enough to re-wire them for me. Fred, will correct me if I'm wrong, but without re-wiring, the mirrors connections won't plug into your car or mine. There was that one bmw technician from L.B. BMW that moved to Crevier who was able to mess with an M3 and re-wire it with folding mirrors...but Eric and I tried to get a hold of him with no luck! Anyway, anyone is welcome to them if it fits!
