I'm thinking about same upgrade, however the standard OEM exhaust on 535d is controlling a back pressure with small actuator on the end, I was told it is because of the turbine, if you just open the exhaust, there is no control of it and it may cause damage the turbine shaft.

Seriously I had just got one telling my girl how I loved his m5 (stock) and I wish I had ought one instead of mine. No sooner did I say that I see him look over nd I've me he finger. So at the next light I rolled down my window and gave him a dirty look n was like " is there a problem?" and he just responded "nice car man". I'm assuming he either bitched out because I confronted him or that he was being sarcastic but I couldn't tell by his tone. Either way I didn't feel like starting a fight so I just rolled off. Very unnecessary. I honestly think he was jealous of m mods, or maybe he just didn't like em. Either way, the finger?! Really? :thumbsdown:
