Have had my 2008 550i M sport for about a month. Love the car. Thinking about putting the M5 rear lip spoiler on to complete the look. Spoke with BMW service/parts...about $350-400 painted and installed. What do you guys think of the idea and price? I think I like the look but I am not decided.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I went with a replica version off ebay ($130 painted) and am very happy with the quality and paint match. For me considering the price/value vs. OE it was the right choice.
However, if I had it to do over I might go with a slightly more agressive style -- I like M5 spoiler, but think I would have preferred one that stood out a little more (especially on a darker car).

quote/ Thanks...checked it out and sent Tony request. What do you think about adding the spoiler though? /end quote
in my opinion, i like the trunk as is. there's that little bend (not sure if you guys will know what im talking about, i dont know how to explain it) on the end of trunk lid and it shows a little of the car's overall curves when looking from the back and seeing the trunk lid. but i also like seeing and the look of the m5 decklid spoiler, and i also like the looks of the schnitzer decklid spoiler. its just up to the owner's taste really. if that's what you want, i say go for it then
