I think what he meant to say is that he invested a total of 80k for the car, so its 60k for buying the car and 20k for mods, that is for the exhaust wheels, and sound system. That sounds believable a total of 80k. But its hard to sell that car in today's economy.

Realistically speaking:

The color is not my cup of tea so whatever the market value is, I'd be willing to buy it for $5k less than the cheapest M5 of that year and those miles.

I'm thinking with the mindset that if there isn't only one idiot in this world that would do that to their car.
Thus, I'd put the "sound system" and rims up for sale and only ask that the buyer pays for the clean uninstall of the sound system, and gives me back either the stock M5 or 550i rims in exchange for those aluminum foils he has on the car now.

The exhaust I would keep...it's the one thing done right.


BTW. He says he put $80k into in with mods....

I don't understand what part in that car costs more than $5k. Max he could have put into it is $10k. MAX!
