Is the E60 missing wires just like the Old E39s were?

I think that there are a couple reason:

1) M5 mirrors are too expensive to buy - close to $2000 (painted) from ebay.com. Not many owners would like to spend this much of money just for the folding function and maybe for the style.
2) not easy to take off the door panel and the wiring behind it. Fred (my530i) had mentioned that in another post to be careful about the wiring when taking the door panel out.
