My Ride: 130i, 265 HP, just serious extras
First question that come sto my mind is...WHY?
Never tried it, but the worst thing that can happen is that the underground is not structured to house the second piping on the right side. I would have to see a standard E60 from the bottom
Also, you have no V engine, so where to connect it? Go off the manifold bend the pipe?
I have never seen a non M5 with two exhausts right and left. But again, I do not know, sorry.

CAN IT BE DONE HAS IT BEEN DONE ON AN E60
The solution I am trying is the RDS system. The muffler for the right side is rotated to fit in the thin slot.

The only real "quad" exhaust conversion that can fit on a non M E60 is the RDSport Quad Exhaust pictured below. You can see how they tilt the mufflers to fit into the tight space on the right.
I assume the stock M5 mufflers would be too big for that tight space.
There is not enough room on the passenger side for two mufflers, do to the spare tire.

Oops, you beat me to it...
Yep, the Hamann and Eisenmann quad exhausts have dummy pipes on the right.

I think Hamann has a quad exhaust for the non M5?s. It?s only a muffler on one side and two outlets on the other side. Looks ok from behind.

Yes.
I think dummy pipes are for all E60s V or inline engines. I think i can mount one even on ym 535d.
But a quad exhaust that has a REAL funtional right exhaust is only for the V shaped engines.
From what i know M5 exhaust will not fit on a regular V powered E60. Inline is out of the question.
