Hi guys I have recently purchased a damaged 06 E60 M5. I need to replace the bonnet, bumper bar and the bumper bar reinforcement. I obviously know that the bumper bar is different however have heard mixed answers about the bonnet and reinforcement being the same as any E60 5 series. I realise that the bonnet for both the M5's and 5 SERIES's are the same and are both made of aluminium but however have realised that under it the trimming is different. I have also have heard that the bumper bar reinforcement could or could not be the same as any 5 SERIES model.

If anyone could clarify if these parts are the same or not it would be much appreciated as it is harder and more expensive to obtain M5 parts, 5 SERIES parts would be cheaper and more practical allowing me to get my car on the road sooner

If anyone has a link to a website that compares whether or not the parts are similar that would also be real useful
