Andy545 - as you have a 545i I was wondering if you had to change the 'dust cover plate' (plate that sits behind the hole disc on the rears (with the 545i having a bigger setup than the 520i) as it's mention above that I may have to purchase two?
No matter if it is 520 or 550. They are the same (hubs and covers) only M5 differs ...massive 520i

Updated the hubs today and made them "M5 like" with 2 holes on each rotor.

Also, I checked the 17" spare wheel mounted along with the front M5 brakes. I tried it with 15 mm spacer in the front and the clearance between caliper and spare wheel is 2mm
(with 15mm spacer -or more- works perfect to the rear ..with M5 brakes)

I'd suggest to those with M5 brakes that a 20mm spacer (and 20mm longer boltsX5) is good/safe enough for both front and rear, in case of a flat tire

Yap! 20mm spacer with right size bolts is the solution in order to use the spare tire for those with M5 BBK.
I'm still awaiting shipment of rear M5 calipers to complete my rear M5 brakes setup.

With 10 mm, the spare tire can turn but it touches the caliper.
I am thinking to get a wood 3 mm more. Bolts should be enough also for +3 mm.
