My Ride: BMW 545iA Black Sapphire
Model Year: 2005
Engine: 545i

I've been looking to improve the roll characteristics on my 545i especially at slow/medium speeds and something that would ultimately complement the Eibach prokit I had installed some time ago. I was initially looking at the H&R bars but found a sweet deal on a rear M5 anti sway bar and just bought a new front one. Came out reasonable at 350euros with install.

After exiting the dealer and taking a few sharp corners, the difference becomes immediately apparent (especially having driven the previous setup for over 3 years) - it's impressive what difference a few mm in diameter makes !
Car feels tighter and very docile than ever before - hardly any roll at low/medium speeds and very composed up high - it's great - very recommended !

Haven't really got much to say on the Redstuff - still bedding them. I'm hoping for reduced fade as they apparently have high temp resistance, we'll see.

do you have the active roll stabilization on your car? I didn't think the M5 came with that.

+1
His signature didn't help .

EDIT :
No, he cannot have Dynamic Drive Control (the best E60 device!) :

They are alternative ( http://bmwfans.info/original/E60/Lim/545i-.../2005/07/mg-33/ ) :

Absolutely no: the M5 E60 is disgustingly soft indeed.

No, Andy's car has the standard anti roll bars, just like on the M5

BTW I wish I had ARS

Congrats Andy! That's one more great mod. You know, I like fast cornering so much
I can imagine how well it will handle now, with those solid bards paired with the eibachs lowering and the 19" wheels/tires and how much controllable on over-steering situations should be with this mod

If someone is interested, just for curiosity, the REAR Dynamic Drive Control (ARS) bar is 23.5 instead of 18 of the M5 .

I have to ask if they can gauge the front too .
