Red face

I see there have been quite a few questions about spacers with 172 and other wheels.
It is really difficult to show the benefits of 10mm spacers with photographs.
Visually the benefit of 10mm spacers with 172 rear wheels is massive in my opinion.

I initially had 15mm spacers with my 135 rims, but these were too wide for the 172's.

I tried to find some photo's from my collection that show that the very small difference of 10mm's at the rear helps the wheels fill the arches perfectly.

Cool! How is the handling afterwards?

Very cool!!

I have the same wheels and I think I have to do the same thing!!

Where do you get spacers? BMW ?

Does that interfere with the handling or change the ride and feel in any way?

Is this a simple process or does it require a lot of work?

Do you only put spacers in the rear?

Thanks in advance!

In my opinion, spacers are only needed on the rear wheels with the 172's. I used Eibach 10 mm spacers. if you look at their web site you will find them there. It is a very simple process to fit them. Take off the wheel, put the spacer on the hub, and bolt the wheel back on. 10 minutes per wheel, max.
