Hi,

Can anyone running m166 alloys with 12mm H&R spacers confirm they have no rubbing issues? I have read a number of posts but wanted to confirm running an ET 16 offset as a result of the spacers does not cause any issues?

Could you also confirm what length nuts are required and if you have been able to find locking wheel nuts to?

Thanks in advance, glad to be part of such an awesome community,

I installed OEM 166 wheels, 245/35/19 (F), 275/30/19 ?, with H&R 12mm spacers a few weeks ago. No rubbing issues so far and I am not expecting any (I searched the E60 forums extensively for members feedback on the same setup and found no issues).

I am now looking to lower with Eibach Prokit springs which is the mildest drop and closest to stock ride, and therefore should migitate risk of rubbing. I have heard no members indicate that they have the above setup in addition with Eibach Prokit springs and have rubbing (If there is anyone please let me know!)

i also got the 166 m5 offset but with 12mm rougue engineering spacers. i also ordered their bolts they offered to eliminate any doubt (they determine what size bolts you get based on the size spacer purchased) i believe for 12mm spacers requires 36mm bolts. check out their webpage

i use the recommended tire size ^^ and had three adults with no rubbing issues.

rogue also lists the Mcgard wheel locks with part #'s that'll accomodate their bolts

good luck

If you want BLACK bolts for 12mm spacers or any specific size spacer for that matter, order on the Turner Motorsports website.

The M6 M166 rim has an offset of ET17, so you'll be fine with your ET16 (ET28 with 12mm spacer).
